ACDC is CALEA Accredited

The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) is a credentialing authority whose primary mission is to accredit public safety agencies. The purpose of CALEA accreditation programs is to improve the delivery of public safety services, primarily by maintaining a body of standards, developed by public safety practitioners, covering a wide range of up-to-date public safety initiatives; establishing and administering an accreditation process; and recognizing professional excellence.

 

Initial accreditation achieved July 2017.

2nd accreditation award received July 2021.

The purpose of this public portal is to receive comments regarding ACDC compliance with accreditation standards, engagement in the service community, delivery of public safety services, and overall candidacy for accredited status.

 

These comments may be commendations or concerns. The overall intent of the accreditation process is to provide ACDC with information to support continuous improvement, as well as foster the pursuit of professional excellence.

ACDC works closely with a variety of affilitates to

enable operations,

obtain credentialing,

and train staff.
